A maritime festival in Hamburg from September 4-13
The spectacular port of Hamburg is a bustling hotspot for the international cruise industry. Last year it ranked at the top of German cruise echelon: with 189 arrivals and around 590,000 passengers. For the first time this September, the city of Hamburg is hosting a dazzling ten-day event in celebration of cruising!
For the duration of this festival and under the motto “Hamburg welcomes you on board” the city will host a myriad of inspiring maritime events open to the general public. Gigantic artwork by lighting artist Michael Batz will light up the harbor and many of Hamburg’s sights in a brilliant blue light at night. At Plastische Chirurgie am Klosterstern we are lovers of Literature and therefore the “Harbour Front Literature Festival “ event, held on September 9th and 10th will be the absolute highlight of the event.
